Coronavirus - COVID-19 Information
Scheduling Information
Unfortunately due to hospital restrictions patients may not be able to stay the night at Swedish Medical Center following a procedure with Dr. Yakes. Patients who schedule multiple procedures may continue to do so, but may have to discharge and re-admit for any additional procedures.
Patients will be required to have a responsible adult drive you home after your procedure (Uber, Lyft, Taxi, Etc. are not considered a responsible party and we will not discharge you to their care). Your procedure will be canceled if you do not have a responsible adult to drive you home.
Visitor Restrictions
-
Patients may have an unlimited number of visitors per day.
-
For the health and safety of our patients and staff, Physicians and staff reserve the right to limit visitors for some patients.
-
Children of any age are permitted and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
-
Everyone is required to wear a mask to protect patients, visitors, staff and providers.
-
Wear your mask up to the top of your nose and under your chin; snug and without gaps.
By entering this building, you are attesting that the answer is “NO” to these questions:

COVID-19 Testing & Vaccination Information
At this time most patients are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test or vaccination to proceed with scheduled appointments. Patients who require a negative COVID-19 test prior to an appointment will be informed of this on a case by case basis.
Hospital Entry Point
All patients and visitors are required to enter through the main entrance of Swedish Medical Center.
All patients and visitors will then be screened with questions and a temperature check.
Those who require a mask will be provided one at entry.
However, we do recommend all patients and visitors arrive masked if they are able to do so.
